Lady Day was named for a famous blues
singer, Billie Holiday, whose nickname was
Lady Day. Like her namesake, my Lady Day
can sing although she sings Siamese, not the
blues. We hope there are no Gloomy Sundays
-to name a Holiday hit-in her future
because she may be having kittens in 2015.
Her first litter, last year, produced a singleton
called Oleander. This kitten, a blue point sired
by a Champion on the show cat circuit, is a
stunning beauty of the Oriental breed.
